15 rep range??????

Hey ive heard for straight up bodybuilding type gains that htis range is one of the best while in the so called bulking cycle and using a PH stack or real gear. I was always under the low rep heavy weight, but that supposedly gives strength and mass where as the 15 rep just mass(generally)??? Any one know the deal with that? I always see the bodybuilders sets int he mags and its like 12-15 and 4 sets and i know they are super human haha but that what the PH and gear is for lol.

I hate high rep...high rep for me is 8...and that is VERY high rep...

I hate using light weights, they tend to cause injury, don't think that they produce strength or mass, and they become boring.

Nearly all of my injuries have come from doing high reps...

15 for mass? nope, you are bordering on oxidation(aerobic) and not ATP/CP or glycolytic energy pathways.

the majority of literature you will read will say 8-12 range and IMO 12 is pushing it. but keep in mind...this isnt "stop at 8" this is "i wont get 9".

intensity(fatigue) + rep range = the desired result (based on rep ranges)

then again...the human body wasnt designed with a counter or a clock, just an adaptation response. so rep ranges are just based on numerous studies, TUT estimations, and muscle energetics.

the key to hypertrophy is variety. strength training to increase overload, moderate repetitions to stimulate intermediate fibers and to increase volumization of organelles and SR, capillarization etc.

thanks.....always appreciated..i personally have had great success with low reps and heavy weight ....but i was told by a excellent nutiornist and sports coach that i should do 12-15 rep sets while using a PH like mag -10..ho well i guess ill find out, ill try it out and worst case i lost alot of money haha...lets you guys know how it is
