Wondering if anyone has tried something like this. I havent taken more than 2 days off lifting in sometime. I normally take a week off lifting atleast once every 3-4 months. That is about do, however at the end of my training week this week which is Sunday, I am going to Blast my arms, delts, calves-which I have already worked or am scheduled too this week. When I say blast, I mean like 2-3 exercises to failure every hour or so for each bodypart throughout the day. I would be taking in extra carbs, cals, protein as well to help keep me out of a catabolic state as much as possible. I then would take off a week straight of training and sleep in extra 2 hours atleast a night while uping my protein throughout the week. What do you think?

Better routine:

5 sets of squats
5 sets of heavy deads
20 sets of whateever you want to work for.

EVERY HOUR! That way not only you will produce hormones every hour, you would also stimulate other muscles.

Next week YOU WILL sleep for extra hours each day!!

DO that! Make sure to eat simple carbs and lots of protein during that day to keep your energy up!

There are 4 factors that contribute to muscle hypertrophy (cronic)
1. resistance training
2. nutrient dense diet
3. cranking out the right amount of hormones
4. chose your parents well
thats it!
