i eat half a cup beofre bed and was wondering which one you guys eat. the one i get is the friendship nonfat cottage cheese. 1 serving has 80 calories, 4 grams of carbs, 15 grams of protein and 380mg of sodium. i just realized that they had a 1% lowfat cottage cheese with no salt added. which has 90 calories, 1 gram of fat, 4 grams of carbs, 16 grams of protein, and only 50mg of sodium. a gram of fat or about 330mg of sodium more? what do you guys think

none anymore but when i did i got the fat free stuff. i dont remember it having 4 grams of carbs though. i think it was carb free. i would eat the entire container for a meal. i wouldnt worry about the sodium too much unless u have some medical reason to do so or u r pre-contest.

I like "low fat" California Style CC.. I forget the brand name but the texture is awesome, it's not so wet and the curds are medium sized tightly packed. Almost like making mashed potatoes from cauliflower.

Lucerne low fat, small curd. I usually eat a pound a day.

not to hijack but whats everyone top their cc with it

Nothing usually. If I'm having a tough time choking it down I'll put some frozen berries in it.

I like the Old Michigan brand small curd cottage cheese by itself. It is dry with curds no bigger than ricotta cheese. I mix in some Beverly International Chocolate Ultrasize Protein powder with it and it is like eating mushy no bake cookies.

That description just doesn't sound like an easy way to choke it down. LOL!

If you like cottage cheese, it is good.

However, I've cooked oatmeal and mixed in albacore tuna too for a convenient morning meal. The Tuna-meal concoction doesn't taste great, but it is pretty convenient if you can stomach it.

mmhm. sounds good.lol. the first time i tries cottage cheese, i hated it. the next day, i tried it again, and it tasted better, dont know why but now, i actually look forward to 1/2 a cup every night before bed. also take a tablespoon of natural peanut butter, but one night, i figured i try something new and mix it with the cottage cheese. Wow, that wasnt what i expected it to taste like. Lol, i thing i wont do again!!
