What women want???!!!

Well, after hearing a comedian talk about what a woman wants...it really got me wondering. Of course...he was amazed that they could make a movie about it that didn't last 14 hours and have many sequels. :) He also suggested that they should make a movie about what men want...it would be a 10 minute silent film that was XXX and included sports highlights...lol.

Anyway...after much thought about what a woman really wants from a man...I decided that maybe this would be a good start.

A big man, being quiet, back and butt facing, taking out the trash.

Actually what a good woman wants is the same as good men really. But finding the GOOD for each of the species sometimes is harder than one would think.

And my man is very remiss in taking out the trash -- but I would not trade him for the world -- LOVE him through and through. And I never say anything about the trash either. He is the best thing that happened to me -- and being sloppy more often than not does not really matter -- he is too good to be true, the sloppiness is overlooked as compared to his goodness it truly would be petty for me to open my mouth.

Hope you find your GOOD woman.

Oh, he found her. ;)

His woman is awesome. She's brilliant, elegant, a former Hungarian soccer player...she is one classy lady, and truly his biggest fan.

That's perfect, B_Fold!

Personally, what I mainly look for is a man who not only accepts my gym life, but completely supports it. This has been harder to find than you would think - most of the men I know (corporate America types) are pretty intimidated by muscular, athletic women. Throw the competition dieting on top of that, and your dating pool decreases considerably.

Luckily, the man in my life right now is PL competitor and is fascinated by my love of weight training, is a clean eater, and is very understanding with my pre-contest dieting. Plus, we're both into continually learning and challenging ourselves. The only downside is we're both very independent, and don't seem to get to see each other often enough due to our hectic lives. That's a very minor downside though. :-)

JJ- I have been just as lucky as you have been in finding a man who's supportive. My hubby just loves the muscle!

My husband knows that I disappear into the basement for a couple hours every night and come back sweaty.

...and that I eat alot of meat and green stuff.

That's about it. :D

Ha, that's terrific B!

I do have to say that I finally got to see "What Women Want", when we had free cable for a month. I found the movie rather insulting that it displayed women as NOT individuals. There were no huge revelations for the Gibson character; and everyone was relegated to that of a stereotype. The movie cheapened out and went the easy route: became a sitcom. I also felt that my IQ dropped several digits after the movie was over.

As for what REAL women want? Hmmm. Don't know, and neither can I speak for ALL of the women out there. I can speak for me:D

I want someone just like my man. He's my biggest fan, my biggest critic AND my best friend. Oh, and he DOES take out the garbage!
