What Happens To Them???

I have a simple yet acceptable question that ive kind of been wondering for a while. Right after i lift ,or finish my daily workout,
I always notice that i feel a little better and a little more upbeat. Well, what i was wondering is this:What happens too your hormone levels right after you lift weights???Do your testosterone levels go up??do they go down???If so foo how much???Also does your metabolism stay revved up right after you lift weights. Just a couple of things that i wanted to clear out.

you get a rush of adrenaline after a workout-the metabolism in people who work out regularly and eat every 3 hours is higher than people who do not

After a workout your Testosterone levels are low.

And your metobolism will stay on the up provided you fuel it as mentioned.

I'll bump this one 'cause I'd like to see some of diamondiceclay's references for his statements! By references I mean scientific of course.

This phenomenum/observation has been around for a long time. Almost everyone feels better after a workout (whether it be aerobic or weights). I suspect it has more to do with changes in neurotransmitters and receptors than it has to do with overall T levels or metabolism. But I am always open to correction......

In general hormones such as Testosterone, or metabolic changes, happen very slowly (over weeks or months). Neurotransmitter/neuroreceptor changs can happen over very short periods of time.
