Weighted Pull Ups day After Deadlifts

I want to incorporate a weighted Pull Up day On Wednesdays, I dead lift on Tuesdays. On my dead lift Day I do a heavy triple or fiver followed by some heavy RDLs.

Correct me if I am wrong but although both dead lifts and pull ups work your back, they work it in two totally different ways.

Would I harm my recovery if I did a weighted pull up day the day following my DL day? I really want to do it, but if it will impede my progress on Deadlifts than I wont. I am kind of hoping that the two different movements will allow me to workout my back two days in a row without burning out.

BTW on Thursdays I do my OHP day, so my program would look like this:

Monday Bench
Tues DL
Wed Weighted Pull up
Thurs OHP
Fri Squat

They are so nasty, favorite exercise, if anything I would think they would get the blood pumping in the back and expedite recovery.

That is total bro science though, wistful thinking.

Just do them after deads. If your doing dl correctly then your back should be trashed afterwards and you need to recover. You grow outside of the gym.ise that time to grow.

Thanks man, but I didn't ask if I should be doing pull ups right after deads. I also didn't ask if my back should be trashed after a deadlift workout.

I asked if doing a weighted pull up routine the day after my dead lift day would impede my recovery.

Obviously I could finish my dead lift workout with a few sets of pull ups and chins. However I would get a much more effective workout if I did it the day after when my back was not "trashed" and I could actually do the exercises with some degree of strength.

Not trying to be a prick but all you did was point out the obvious.
