I do a lot of running in addition to lifting and have found that sometimes water just doesn't cut it. But looking at the nutritional labels of things like Gatorade boggle my mind with all that sugar.

But I recently found Ultima Replenisher. Anyone use this or have an opinion? Also, I made this a poll. It's always cool when people can participate in a thread without having to type.

I've tried it, but I, BY FAR, do not think it's the best. IMO, $35+ for 32 packets of this stuff (see ingredient list below) is outrageous.

Thanks.

Does the price seem outragous? At first, yes.

However, it is a 20 oz beverage. You shop around, the going rate is $1 a pack. You go on Ebay, you can find it at a really good price.

What other sports drink can you get for $1 for 20 oz?

I think the point I was making is that sports drinks are pretty much useless, all you need to do is get a bottle of multi vit/min take them a few times a day and drink water w/ some carbs (as they have). Wouldn't make much difference, honestly.
