Strength dropping rapidly

Since I went off cycle 5 mos ago my strength stayed steady for about 3-4 mos and now out of the blue my strength has been dropping rapidly. I have switched up my diet cutting carbs down because my sugar was high, and to cut bf, and my workouts have become a little more spread out doing chest mon, bi and tri tues, back and shoulders wed, legs and abs thurs, doing cardio for 20 min eod, starting the workout all over again come fri and taking Sunday off or skipping a day here and there never more tha. Two days a week tho. My bench has dropped from 285- 235, dumb bells from 120 max to 110 on a good day max. I'm just feeling the mental defeat. Today I went from doing a 180 on incline bench for ten to five and I couldn't get past it. This shit is really puting me in a bad mood. And really feeling defeated. Any suggestions?

Btw wanna add in I know there will be some drop in strength from being on- being off but this is happening 5 mos later...

Did you build up a good enough base before starting aas? Keeping calories same as when you were on? If not.. then you know why

It might be mental somewhat.. You have to get out of that state of mind and still strive to break prs natty that you made while on aas.

wait you said you cut down carbs in the first post.. then said you upped calories. how did u manage to do that?

foods that are high in calories are also high in carbs typically. so that is quite a feat and probably would explain the strength drop.

to gain mass and strength you need several things. carbs, cals, protein, vitamins, minerals.. all of those need to be fed into the muscle especially off cycle. you are pretty much running a catabolic type diet where you are cutting down fat and that is costing you strength. that is the bottom line

Yea ur making sense. Let me re phrase here... I cut out breads and those type of carbs. If I do have bread it's ezekiel bread or whole grain if I'm out but for the most part If I can get something in a whole wheat wrap I do. My carbs are quinoa or brown rice pasta shit like that. In moderation though. My blood sugar was high last blood test and my stomach was pudging up a bit so I said why not. Cut back.. At the same time keeping other foods high in intake like chicken meats salads ect. So I'm trying to find a balance diet wise. It's hard always being On The go so some days carb intake is higher than others.
I don't eat pre workout meals because I'm lifting heavy and don't wanna throw up in the gym so I eat after. I usually eat 3 hours before gym at work.

Damn bro I don't know how you do it... I get in 1 cup of oats, 8 egg whites, 1 tbsp ANPB and 1 scoop whey 1 hour before workout... chuck it in the blender and chug it =)
