Eat 1g/pound bodyweight of protein each day. Cut calories a reasonable amount, such as 300-500 under maintainance. Try to eat your majority of carbs post-workout. ECA stacks are super-effective, helping to burn a ton of fat while sparing muscle. They also work pretty well at mobilizing resistant pockets of fat.

I'd say weight train three times a week, and do cardio on off days. This way you always have something boosting your metabolism during the day. Monitor your weight loss and make sure it doesn't go higher than 1 pound/week. More than that and you risk losing a lot of muscle along with it.

Did I miss anything?

If you want an alternative approach, check out DC's method of cutting. Both are effective but I personally like his method. It seems to be more muscle sparing (that's his central point)

DC advocates a targeted ketogenic diet, sort of...right? Like, moderate carbs before workout, none afterwards.

Those tend to work very well, although there's nothing magic about a ketogenic diet; it's just a pretty hands-free way to lower caloric intake and get a lot of protein. So if you can't see yourself going low-carb, don't lose sleep about it. But if you can, it'll work.

Well, DC always recommends a post-workout drink (a pretty big one at like 100 g protein 100 g carbs). He advocates making the diet's carb cutoff time earlier while cutting (like 3-4PM) and doing 1 hour incline treadmill walking every day upon rising (except leg days). Basically he keeps the diet the same, is stricter on the carbs and ups the cardio.
