Something to think about regarding protein shakes and the health of your teeth.

bro im a dentist and your is chattin breeze my man. sugar/ glucose/ frutose the like casue cavities not protein there isnt one bacteria in your mouth that uses protein as it souce of energy herefore no increase in acid production therefore no cavities. period this is actuall fact.

look however add all the ingredience in your shake see if sugar has been added if it has it that causing the issues therefore change shake

as said above your idiot dentist is probably getting confused between a protein shake and a sport drinks.

Ya but my dentist said the vitamin c chewables were what was giving me the cavaties, so whether or not they have sucralose is irrelevant.

dentists can be wrong just like anyone else, perhaps he got licensed through a cracker jack box or buying one online through ebay.....

I got a couple of surface cavities a couple of years back (the type on front of the tooth, up near the gum line). It was caused by drinking protein shakes when I would wake up in the middle of the night. But it sure wasn't the protein. I remember after seeing the dentist, I looked at the bottle, and sure enough there was a crap load of sugar in there. I switched to regular plain whey for my mid night shake and never had a problem again. I'd guess your shake has sugar in it as well. Switch it for a better quality one and see a dentist more often!! That's way too long between visits bro.
