I don't know if any of you remember, but I posted my pic here a little over 50 days ago just before I got my weight set...

well about 50 days later now.. thought I'd give some updates...

here's the before pic...

Before Pic

and current pics...

Current Pics

any feedback would be appreciated, good or bad.. thanks.

It's hard to notice a difference because the poses are different w/different lighting. I'd love to say great job, so what was your change in weight, bodyfat, and/or measurements?

Well.. the good news.. you looked a lot like me when I first started.

The bad news.... you have a lot of work to do.

First, not related to your training, but you are the second person who I have seen today posting pics that has some pretty nasty back acne.... have you always had that? Do you do anything for it? I only ask because at any given time i have a dozen pimples on my shoulders/upper back and I am seeing a dematologist this month about it.

Ok, so as far as feedback..

I don't know what your specific goals are but I assume you want to put on some size. I am assuming that because you are extremely skinny. You are an ectomoph as I am.

You need to really sit down and plan a diet out.. you need some serious calories. I don't know how tall you are, but lemme just throw out 3000-4000 a day to start with. You'll gain fat, but you will grow muscle too (assuming your training is decent).

Do some research on this board on the best exercised to build lean muscle mass. Basically compound lifts... heavy lifts.. lower rep sets... lower meaning don't do 12-15 reps every set.. don't be afraid to throw down some 2-5 rep sets.

Two things you could do to instantly improve your appearance, assuming you are doing this for cosmetic reasons...
1)get a tan
2)shave your stomach and chest hair

It makes a big difference, trust me.

im still workin on gettin myself a tan, im 1/4 irish and i live in alaska so i dont tan very well. lol.

cool, thanks for the replies, I was 169 pounds in the first pic, and am 188 pounds in the other pics. about the back acne, I'm not really doing anything about it because it's starting to go away, my mom said she had it as a teenager and it went away by the time she was 20, I'm 19 now. anyway.. I'm 6'3 and I've been eating incredible amounts of food, I usually stuff food down my neck when I think of it. no junk food, just quality whole foods.
damn, you guys can really not notice a difference? maybe it's easier to notice difference when you look at the pics yourself cause you know what to look for. but personally I thought my pecs tightened up and grew, actually all my muscles have, alot harder now too, not so soft as I was once. anyway, I appreciate the feedback.

Like casual said, its hard to tell a difference only because the poses and lighting are so different. The before pic is kinda weird, so its hard to compare to the others.

One thing I did notice though is that for your height, you have decent bis. I'm almost 6'3" and my bis attach really long and look like crap. For your size, you have a good peak that will definately look good when you start piling on the weight.

hey, cool.. thanks thaibox, that was inspirational. ... I will continue to train hard, and hopefully reach a decent size over all one day. my bench, squat and deadlift have been going up rapidly, though my presses suffer (maybe I have bad delts by genetics..)
I dunno.

Go heavy and keep eating. I definately see an improvement. enjoy the journey.

I can deffinately see an improvement and this is just the start, 50 days is nothing you'll keep looking better as time progresses. I think you have a decent base to start with and 6'3" is a really nice height and you'll deffinately look built when you've reached your goal.
