OK ladies, what are your thoughts on seasonique??

Ok ladies. I have had many various pills, have had depo, have had iud, and all the funness!! Will not do noraplant, will not do nuvaring, and am not in fear of getting pregnant. It simply wont happen right now.

I broke down and took the pill. Only way I could stop being so sick was to take it. Obviously I cannot stop unless I am not busy, and feel like going through hell. It is higher estrogen 30mcg, however without the monthly break I think I will be ok. We shall try it..Ain't going to find something that works unless I continue to look.

Everyone has bad things to say about the shot. I love it, no weight gain, no periods. But there are a couple different kinds. With any medication you need to try and see what works for you. I wouldnt go straight to a iud.

Pravera murdered my sex drive after about 6 months. Prior to that it worked really well, apart from frequent dribbling, but nothing a panty liner couldn't handle.

I do hate birth control. I hated ALL of the pills I tried... destroyed my sex drive. I didn't gain any weight on any.... or the ring (although one day I found it in my bed and had no idea how long it had been there... the patch, enjoyed except for the "band aid" after mark every time I moved it... but I heard you can gain quite a bit on the injection. I do love my IUD... I've been on/off for about 5 years and between the IUD and 2 kids... I've had 2 periods in.... 5 1/2 years? And that was the one I needed to get my IUD in after my 1st child and then 2nd. But women I know had straight 6 month periods on them too. I don't think I know anyone on seasonique though.

How long have you had it? No sides at all?

It varies for all woman. while she has enjoyed it, it made my life a living hell. I bled too heavy, the string caused discomfort to my husband as it kept dislodging from behind the cervix, I ended up having massive cysts from it, and many more sides...

It all depends on the woman. Though when I went in for a final removal (physician ordered removal due to golf ball cysts that were damn close to surgical removal) they notified me that the IUD is the same as the depo shot. Therefor I should never have received the IUD judging on my horrible experience with depo.

i LOVE it.
first month or so was annoying- random spotting but nothing bad. I think that lasted about 6 weeks now that I think of it because just as I was like, "ok, i've had enough", it stopped. I've had it for a year so far and in that time, twice i THOUGHT i was about to get a period, and by the next day, whatever signs i had were gone.
i never have to think about it, and no period. that's perfect.
