A few things to remember when you are young and in a potential commitment situation -

1) She comes w/ the kid. And probably the kid will always come first with her. (As it should be.)

2) Is what you are experiencing now somethign you are honestly ready to stick with the rest of your life? Love or the thought of love is a very powerful thing. When you are young the novelty & strength of these feelings make you sure that this is what you want. Since she is young also, she may not really know what she wants either so you are both liable to commit now and want to bail later. Don't rush anything. If its meant to be, then the amount of time you wait to make that commitment should not matter.

I dated a chic with a kid when I was your age. you just are not used to being with mature women. That is why she seems so cool. Go for an older chic w/o a kid. you will be thankfull in the end.
