OK i have a Kickboxing fight this weekend, im in great shape stamina wise but last week i clashed knees in the clinch with a sparring partner, since then my knee has been giving me pain when I run so for a week now i haven't been running. Sparring wise and padwork wise it doesnt hurt, only stuff like running, skipping etc
I'm just worried that my stamina will decrease in the time between now and the fight if i dont run... last time i ran I did 3 miles in just over 18 minutes so I dont know how much it would have detrimented since...
Any ideas for quick recovery, alternative excercises for stamina or whether it will make a huge impact on my stamina for saturday?
the fight is only a 3 round bout but its still gonna be important to be fit!
