yeh so i was bulking for 3 months and gained about 18 pounds

if i cut back to 4-5 meals a day would that be enough to not lose any muscle?

im gonna keep the same workout, but also wanna add daily cardio to my routine for a while

what are your current stats?

If you want to maintain, after bulking for 3 months, the sensible thing to do would be:

1. Try eating the same number of meals, only smaller meals and reduce the amount of carbs in your PWO to about half.

2. Start reducing cals by 200-300/day untily you notice you are not gaining anything else.

3. Those are your maintenance cals. Now, if at this point you add daily cardio, you will start to loose weight, so my advice is don't do cardio until you want to start cutting.

or

Start cardio right away and do the same thing with the cals. Obviously, you will have a much higher maintenance level with cardio... but I would save the cardio for cutting, remember our bodies learn fast.

thanks

im still pretty small @ 5'11 80kg

i wanted to take a few weeks rest, and then start bulking again for another 3 months

that is actually VERY small, I am 6' and 93 kgs as of today.

BTW, the 18lbs you gained, those are 18lbs of what? did you have a BF test made before and after?

My advice would be to stick to maintenance cals, with no cardio.
