I've been unable to train at all for the last 4 weeks, where do I begin?

Because of Army field training I've been unable to hit the gym or do cardio for the month of September. My weight has not changed much interestingly enough, but my bench sucks and I can't run as well.

Being in the military, this happens every once in a while. I think I'll just go back to the basics, two weight workouts a week, one upper, one lower. I'll do cardio on the days in between and take one day off. Getting back on diet is important. I've been eating fatty Army rations for too long.

It will take a month to get back to where I was before, but after that...watch out!

it may be good if you do a general physical conditioning routine for at least 2 weeks, so that you don't get hurt.

That's sound advice nikita. Thanks. It would suck to try to get it all back at once and get injured in the process.

What you do when you get back in the gym is not nearly as important as simply getting back itself. If it were me, I'd do just what you're doing. Just pick up where you left off, but go easy. You'll likely be back up to speed well before a month. Besides, It's not like you spent your month away from the gym sitting on a couch.

Youll be fine bro. I took 6 weeks off from a back injury and when I went back I took it kinda easy but still tested to waters. I was still decently strong and that was after sitting on the couch for 6 weeks.
