I'm so proud of my GF, just wanted to share

Please excuse me butting into the femme forums, but I just had to post this in hopes that it might inspire some of y'all. :)

My GF started training with me only about 2 months ago, and I can not believe how well she's progressed.

She started out at around 105 lbs (5'7") and barely able to bench press an olympic bar by itself for more than 3-4 reps. She could squat about 65lbs for 8 good clean reps when she first started. Her arms were around 10", thighs only 18".

Now she's benching 75 lbs for 6 clean reps, and just tonight she squatted 100 lbs for 6 reps, and she's up to a solid 122 lbs. Her arms are now 11" and her thighs have gained a full three inches, up to 21". (Oh...her tummy is within 1" of where it was when she started.) She was so proud of herself, and I'm very proud for her.

I realize these lifts aren't "impressive" in comparison to what some of you ladies can do, but given her neophyte status, I think she's kicking butt and taking names. :)

I know many people start out on the other side of the coin...with decent strength, but a lot of bodyfat to lose. My GF's always been somewhat thin and struggled to maintain a healthy weight ever since we've been together, so to see her making progress like this really inspires both of us.

Many of her problems were due to poor eating habits (ate like a bird, and then it was usually junk food), but now she's seeing first-hand the benefits of better nutrition and weight training.

For the sake of brevity, I'll stop rambling on about her now...I'm just damned proud of what she's accomplished in such a short time. :)

Hopefully someone here can find some inspiration in this as well.

Awesome work on her part!! Tell her to KEEP KILLING THAT SHIT! :) Thanks for sharing.

Well, EF is surely a good place to find inspiration :)

That is great, I am thrilled for you both... There are several 2005 Logs documenting weekly progress (with pics) that are nothing less than AMAZING as well... Check some of em out to (with your GF) to give her an extra push...
