I Need an alternative to Crystal Light

I guess we'll agree to disagree on the safety of aspartame :)

Anyway, if you don't want to use it, there are a lot of other artificial sweeterners which don't contain aspartame (saccharin, cyclamates, splenda or acesulfame K)

Yeah, I appreciate his concern over aspartame as it's good to be aware of what you are ingesting, so I'm not downing him for posting about it. I just don't see it as a big deal, but I guess we'll have to wait and see further on down the road. In 1990, 2 whole eggs per day was supposedly going to raise my cholesterol to unsightly levels and cause all kinds of issues, and 14 years later, it's now touted that eggs/cholesterol are really of NO issue, as the person's body-type and their OWN inherited cholesterol production is what REALLY matters.

All good, this is only discussion. :)

I read some people include at least a gallon of that (crystal light) a day in their diets. I would wonder about ingesting all the citric acid.

What's wrong w/ citric acid ?

Lemon juice = citric acid

Many things are not bad per-say in small amounts but when drinking gallons a day is when it may become an issue.
Agree but I would be more concerned about phosphoric acid
