I had set a goal at the end of July that i wanted to be 180 lbs by August 31st. At the time, I think I was 171. Well, it is August 21, and I weighed in at 181 tonight. I tell you, nothing compares to this feeling I have right now. I know, 180 is not a lot of weight, but it is a great accomplishment to me. I was always the tiny, skinny little kid in high school. Never went above 130 pounds. Now, in the approx. 2 years I have been lifting, I have thrown on 50 pounds of weight. Quality weight. I wish I had some before/after pics I could post. Maybe I can find a few somewhere.

Okay, I'll shut up now. Sorry for ranting. I am just very proud of myself. My next bodyweight goal? 195 by September 30. Wish me luck.
 
I was struggling so bad when I was around those weights...the best feeling in the world was when I hit 195..then I broke the 200 lbs barrier and I am never letting myself back under that(unless its for a contest).

That makes me feel like a big girl...not that there is anything wrong with that...but still! :)

congratulations. . i definately need to gain weight..... 40 more lbs til im at 180!

when you got to 181, where you just as lean as you were at 171?
 
nice gains

keep it up you will find it easier to gain weight now but try not to sacrifice too much bf for just plain old mas.

See that's the funny thing. I don't think i put on much BF at all. Maybe I'm just not noticing it because it's myself. But I do notice my chest is bigger, as well as my shoulders and traps.
 
Congrats on your goal!! I am sure you are noticing gains in size and strength. Keep up the good work. How many times are you eating per day and training per week?
