Said that it was 2081, that seems high to me. I do exercise everyday for two hours but still seems high. Then when you add in a sedentary life style, we did that to be conceritive then it was like 2650. Add in exercise and it is 3650 a day to maintain so it would be 3100 to lose 1 lb a week.

What do you think, should I trust this, it was done on a machine with a mask.

RMR is very individually based. There's no one formula to accurately assess your caloric needs. I'm close to 230 pounds and have had weight issues all my life. I gain fat on 3500 calories a day no matter how clean my diet is. Very unlikely that you'll lose a pound a week eating 3100 calories a day despite the high amount of aerobics. Best bet is to keep track of your daily calories for a week and check to see if you've gained, maintained or lost weight in that time period. From there you can adjust upward or downward based on how you reacted to those numbers.

Have you added in a weight training program? Your overall fat burning abilities will be greatly enhanced with the addition of resistance training and added lean muscle tissue.

Good luck again. :) You've come a long way.

I did have the test done with the mask and the machine, where you lie on the floor and you cant eat for 12 hours and it measures the fat and calories that you are burning. It is suppose to be very accurate with in a 10% error. My Gym does this for people all the time and puts them on diets based on it. Some peoples come back really low then they are super depressed. LOL I am happy that it came back high, but I know what you are saying I am not putting all my stock into this one test. My nutritionest upped my calories last week to 2600 so I have been eating that, she said I should still lose 1lb a week on that.

My weight is hard to determine based on one week of information. It seems like I drop every two to three weeks. I am a bulk dropper LOL.

Yeah same here. :) Lost a lot of weight as a kid but now it's a major pain in the butt to lose one pound a fat per week on a regular basis. That's why I'm not dieting this summer. ;) Autumns coming up soon anyways. :lmao: I think I can smell pumpkin pie already. :)

OK the club told me I had to take it over that the peramiters were wrong. I knew it was too high lol
