Ok, I am going to start dieting and losing weight very soon. However, I have one huge problem. I am in college, and I like to party. As of now, I am a beer drinker. I would like to still party, however, I know beer has alot of carbs. What else should I drink if I am going to party, hard liquor? If so, what kind? Thanks for the input.
 
smoke pot and drink crystal light. i doubt you are gonna put on that much weight/drink that much beer, to affect things. liquor has just about the same amount of calories, depending on the proof. like 70 to 80 calories an ounce. sounds like you have to make a choice. fat party animal or dude who makes grades and chicks like `em cuz he's got abs.
 
Well, I really only drink like 2 nights a week. About a 20 beers a week, is that enough to really mess up my weight loss plan? Or should I forget the whole drinking thing completely?

you sound like a Bud Ice kind of guy. it's got 148 cal. per can. thats almost 3,000 calories. quite a bit, actually....

Alcohol increases estrogen levels... you want to build muscle in the fastest amount of time you know what to do.

Example... lifting all week, 5 steps ahead... boozing 1 night after all that and recovering most of the next day while not eating nesseary/quality food = 2, 3, 4 steps back... it's up to you bro.

Pats all the way baby!...And everyone's right. You have to make choices man. Really decide what you want more, to party every week or loose the weight. Once you get on a routine and you are serious about it, you will be able to cheat here and there every now and then and it wont set you back as much. Save it for special events or holidays or that one big party. But you'll appreciate it more the less that you do it. Bottom line if you really want to loose the weight healthily its not an overnight thing.
 
I also read that drinking alcohol lowers testoterone levels.

drinking a beer is like eating a donut according to a leading nutrionist in the UK. vodga is recommended as it has fewest calories aslong as you dont mix it with soda which is hard to do.
