Deadlift twice a week

Good Bro
What are some of your thoughts on deadlifting twice a week. I am going to do a cycle soon and was thinking about doing them twice a week while on. Any of you guys do them more than once a week?
 
I currently do once a week deadlifts and once a week squats on separate days. I don't think my body could handle doing any other day of deadlifts even with aas. I do squats followed four days later by deadlifts. I'm usually still a little sore when doing squats a few days after deadlifts. Depends on how heavy and hard you go though. Feel your body out, try not to work the same muscle groups too much if they're still sore and recovering.
 
If I went heavy on deads I don't even touch squats that week.....i'm real careful about spinal compression. Since I've been hanging on the invert table both my squats and deads are startin to go up. Now if I could only find a reverse hyper...lol. So I wouldn't DL heavy twice a week, but if it works for you than have at it.
 
Shit... I do 5x5, so I'm going heavy (almost maxing out up to actually maxing out) twice a week on squats and once a week on deads, my body has gotten used to it so I say do it. I'm just taking protein and creatine, so I'm sure on Cycle after your body has adapted to going that heavy multiple times a week you'll see awesome gains!
 
DL'ng twice a week is a silly idea unless you are having one of those days as a speed day (aka working within the 50-60% range for singles and doubles to focus solely on technique and speed).
 
Iv done once every 5 days quite alot and pulled conventional one time then RDL the next. When I first started I did 3 times every two weeks and from what I remember that worked well too.

Depends on your recovery.

if you are thinking about doing it then you should try it. self awareness is the name of the game. asking other people this question will leave you confused because everyone is different. give it a month and see where it takes you.
 
I think DL on cycle once every four or five days on cycle is a good idea. Take advantage of being on cycle but also listen to your body very closely if your body disagrees.
