Damn people think I'm always sad...literally whenever I'm on my cutting diet.

I walk into work today tired and hungry. I'm doin at High Medium Low Carb cutting diet. Today is 303 grams of protein from eggs, chicken, powder, and chicken. I'm tryin to make up for my cheat weekend last week. Went from 194 to 186 in 6 days. But seriously low carb sucks and I feel like a loser. Everyone today was like are you ok? Why u mad? What happened? I'm like wtf I'm fine. How do u guys feel and deal with no carb or low carb days. I use diet coke, tea, and my xbox lol.
 
when your body gets low on nutriends it gets depressed. look at any bb'er when their cutting getting ready for a contest. some look like heroin addicts others look like their wife just died. to avoid this if your not getting ready for a contest just lower the carbs a little on the on days and add a little carbs on the off days. the results will still be their just not as drastic. ditching the cheat days would help quite a bit more.
 
Ya my gf gets mad at me bc I always snap at her when she asks me why I'm mad. Ill be on the phone and she'll be like u sound mad lol. Then I told her its bc I didn't eat, so now she says did u eat whenever we argue. It'll prob take me 2 weeks to get to 180 from 184. Ima go for 175 then maintain that thru Dec. Then start bulking, I'm so rdy 4 that.
 
thats the effects of calorie restriction. your body needs food and youre not giving it what it wants, all bodybuilders feel like shit when theyre dieting, just tough it out. unless youre prpeping for a contest, theres no need to cut off so many carbs and calories. just eating 6 clean meals a day at a maintenance calorie will shed fat off you while maintaining muscle. then if you want to get really shredded, then start taking some calories and carbs out for 8-12 weeks, then go back to your maintenance diet. on my maintenance diet, i stay at 9-10% bodyfat still.

dostinex also helps when bodybuilders are prepping for a contest. its a dopamine so it makes you "feel good".
 
i,m not a fan of low/no carb diets. did you shift your diet dramatically? its always a good idea to work your way to desired macros gradually. reduce carbs each day little by little. same with calories.

you don't need low carb to cut. i lost fat just fine while having carbs, and gained a few pounds of muscle at the same time.:)
 
No I've been dieting since May. But cutting with about 130 g of carbs a day. I got down to 180 pounds and then I lost my mind and gained 12 pounds in 4 days. I've lost 8 of those pounds in about 8 days mostly bloat and water. But in being tired I mean in general. I'm cutting at 2300 a day for a while. My workouts are fine. I'm just doing the High Low carb to fast track the extra weight I gained.
