Any of you bros from the gulf coast area , go to the
"Big Boys Toy Show" at the MS coast convention center ???

any way they have a bench off every year their , every body was like "man you need to inter that thing" I was like "na their will be some big guys their and the weight will get big fast"

winning max weight was 385lbs for the heavy weight class , man what the fuck is that all about ?? I meen all you get is a trophy and the title but man that sucks

One of my bros at the gym is 180lbs and can bench 430lbs. Not too shabby.

A good friend of mine entered one of those down here in Texas and his bench was shit compared to what it usually is. He has well over a 400 lb bench but was barely able to squeak out 335 at the contest. They make you do it some weird way and it takes away from your strength.

I could see if it was like some sort of a sanctioned event , but these guys were wearing like some 3 ply bench shirts and had their elbows all wrapped and shit , the weight hit their chest and was started back in motion from the bounce , no rules I guess

But maybe that is why nobody would enter , what selfrespecting lifter would be proud to win that ??
