Are Morning Naps Bad for you?

I train early in the morning. After I've showered and eaten, if I have at least 30 minutes before I need to leave for work, I like to take a nap. I'm not tired or sleepy, it just feels good. I usually get a really cool dream out of it and feels like I slept another whole night. Is this "bad" for me in any way? It doesn't seem to interfere with my night time sleep.

Not at all

Our bodies need rest to recover. If you fall asleep real fast that is a good indication that you need the extra zz's. Cat naps are needed. I wouldn't feel bad about it, unless you're missing out on things you need to be doing just to get a few minutes of sleep. Other than that, get your nap on!:o

I have work for a few hours in the EARLY morning and as soon as I get back home I have to crash. Feels sooooooooo good and gets me ready for training. enjoy and may we have sweet mid morning dreams forever ;)

Morning Naps = Good

I have a nice office, which means I'll take a late AM or early afternoon nap. I'll just shut my office and take a nap on company time. Afterall, do they expect me to overtrain just because I have to work?! :D

Hell, no! Have a nap!

lol@Platehead jim - I wish I had a private office - I just conk out on my desk for 30mins after lunch - everyone in the open plan's used to it now :D They even tell me if I mumble or snore!
