Another question for the 5x5er's

I think I am going to change up my split and I just wanted to get some opinions on it. I have been stuck at 205 on military press for the past 3 weeks. I do my shoulders after chest and I have gotten up to 345 for my 3x5 so I think it may be wearing me out. My plan is to start doing shoulders on back day. I was thinking I could deadlift first, then do shoulders(compound movement and accessory) and then do my back accessory. I think I would be to tired to do shoulders if I did my entire back first. Do you guys think that this is ok, or should I do my entire back first and then do shoulders? I could also do shoulders first and then do back, but I would really prefer to do back first while I have the most energy. Thanks for the help.

You know how I feel about this. I have been doing military press after deads for a couple months now, and my 3x5 on military has gone up every week!!!!!!! In fact, you were ahead of me on military and I have caught up and surpassed you when I made the switch to back day. I guess you need more input to convince you! :doublefi:

Disclaimer: I train with RusPA81 so giving him a hard time is part of my job :D

I hate you.:11shot: I am not interested in anymore of your opinions. I already know what you think and I agreed to switch days. I just want to know what order people think i should do it.

You would want to do your compound lifts first, do the important stuff first, so yeah, deadlift then militray, then you can do either your back accessory then shoulder, or one back, one shoulder, or alternate around weekly, just do deads first, then militaries second....do the most important things first, chins and side laterals and all that child's play has a place, but it needs to know it's role, it is just assistance shit.

dude split it up some more

D1 Chest/bis
D2 Legs
D3 rest
D4 Delts/tris
D5 back/bis
D6 rest
D7 rest if needed

this works good for me

I personally prefer to do military press first. The I do side laterals while warming up for deads, that way by the time I start deads the shoulder portion of back/shoulder day is complete. It doesnt affect my deadlift strength to do military press first either

Thanks for the ideas guys. I think I am going to play around with some of these ideas and see what works best.
