im really sore from yesterdays leg workout. Is it best to rest today? go for an easy walk...?
i took glutamine after trainig before bed and this morning...
any other tips?
-Take your right arm and put it over your head.
-Next, bend it at the elbow such that your hand is reaching toward the middle of your back.
-Now, pat yourself on the back. You did a good job if your legs are sore.
Try using a heating bad and moving it around the muscles every 10 minutes or so. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Your muscles need much more water when trained due to inflammation. When you sit down you could also elevate your legs for a little while to drain the lactic acid. I think that light exercise would be the best solution because it will bring fresh blood to the sore muscles and rid the muscles of harmfull wastes.
