and I am down a whopping 0.5 lbs. wwwoooooo hooooo!!

I hate this shit.

some stats. I am 34 5'6" 170#'s 17% bf. Lifting 5 days a week, cardio 4 days a week. I have been in the game a long time, and just cant drop down below 10% bf. (@ 17% bf everyone says there is no way I am above 10%....but my ass sat in a bod pod, so I know its accurate....i tried to attach some pics, not sure if they are there)

I am on trex, and will switch to eca in a week. I am eating super clean, fluctuating my caloric intake but avg 1700 cals a week. so why is the bf% not comming off. I HAVE to be under my maintance calories dont I? I feel like I always work my ass off.....diet super strict....and nothing. Now when I want to gain, hell....all i have to do is look at food, and the size/strength/fat comes.

sorry....just venting here because I got on the scale after 3 weeks of this and was shocked....ready to try a pizza and ice cream diet or something.

youve obvioulsy plateaued. try changing up your workout and morning cardio.

I just started!! lol not sure how I could plateau already..... Its weird, my strength is gaining like mad.

I am just not going to even weigh myself anymore. I'll just check the mirror, and bf% every now and then. Just got frustrated this morning when, after the first 3 weeks of cutting my calories by 700 (avg) a day, I lost .5 lbs. Kinda funny really.

On a fire yesterday, my bunkerpants (fire pants) almost fell off.....so thats new. I had to adjust them so they stay on.....so I guess I am losing.

oh well...thanks for listening to me vent

lol

Maybe its more on the diet side. 0.5lbs in three weeks is not what you should be seeing on the scale. In the first week of a cutter for me i can be sure the scale will be down by about 7lbs min. Even by day 4. Why? Its all water retention. If carbs are limited, which in most cases are when dieting, and water intake is up then you should notbe holding any water.

Also, try not to be TOO FOCUSED on the scale. The scale is the enemy sometimes. A better way to do this might be to take pictures and compare them every few weeks. Go by what you look like not by what the scale says. Also, fat weighs less than muscle, so if you were losing A lot of weight, you could be losing muscle and I dont know anyone who would want to do that. :)....I think I would drive my self INSANE if I was getting on a scale every day while cutting...I have before and it was a nightmare. Now, I just go by the measurements and pictires. ---JUst my little input! GOOD LUCK!

-P.s. The fact that your pants are falling off should be evidence that what you are doing is working. Screw the scale for now, just like you said!!!
