Women GH users please respond

SG,

No - I wasn't offended. :)

Anyway - Rob Fagin recommends NO carbs before bed. Insulin can actually lower GH levels - which is why one should workout on an empty stomach as well, because both hunger and intense exercise increases natural GH levels. I generally don't do carbs very often, even his twice a week carb load is a bit much for me, and I do better on one.

cool :) and i am sorry to hear about them damn HMOs again.. one of these days they will work for the people!!

anywho... to touch on the carb and gh and slin... i know exogenous gh can supress slin levels, but i have not heard of slin actually lowering gh levels...
i have looked through all my research and can not find anything to support this statement..
I would like more info if you have it Fawn...
but carb loading can be good to do if you are on a low carb diet to shock the body and replenish the muscles and stores...
i tend to use the cylical approach.. 3 days down, 1 day up...

i wish i had a solution for you on obtaining gh... other than doctor scripts or the illegal black market, there are not many options... it is an expensive proposition for sure!!

BTW... do you feel anything with the precursors??? My mom prior to her GH HRT felt she did... Just curious as to what benefits you saw from it...
thanks girl :)

I carb load at least once a week - just not right before bed. :) Usually 3/4 (days) - one meal in the evening but at least 2 hours before sleep (I eat a protein snack before sleep). Any more than one meal and I become one monsterous carbo craving!

Will look up the connection between insulin and endogenous GH - but it may be more than one step involved - (ie - due to raised seratonin rather than raised insulin) - like I said, it's been a while since I read the book.

As far as the precursors - my S.O. and I have been doing arginine/ornithine/tyrosine before sleep for the last couple of weeks. I haven't noticed a whole lot of difference yet, although I am not as regular as I should be with it. It's difficult to set up, since I usually do need a small snack before bed and they should be taken on an empty stomach. He seems to be a bit more lively, though. :)
