Im up and at the gym every morning at 5am. It's the only time I can workout before work. Was wondering what's the best snack or light meal to eat before my weight training? Let me know please what you eat Thanks!
Water...If you go to the gym w/ no food you'll start with the fat stores for energy..If you really can't make it without eating then munch on some crackers or something. After the workout eat all you want
ok steve. thx. I going to cont to have a protein shake before i work out. It has no carbs and it fills me up. I have to have something in my stomach or I get light headed and feel sick when i start to train. Afterwards it's oatmeal or cereal with a banana.
Have some fruit before you work out, not too much tho. It will fill the liver with glycogen, give you energy, and still allow you to burn fat stores and not blood glucose.
