I just saw a few minutes of Rocky Balboa, holy shit what happened to Stallone?! That isn't natural aging, his face doesn't look right.

any of you would be lucky to be that good of shape at his age.
I didn't see his body, I only caught the first 1/2 hour or so of the movie.

His physique may be better than the average guy less than half his age, but I wonder if he's paying a price in other places.

your face would look like that too if you fucked brigedt nielson.

im telling you, you would look like that too if someone you were fucking ended up with flava flav.

Either never took of his face, only his body (so many older men do that - no idea why) -- or he had every crappy latin american plastic surgeon work on his face.

He's got the typical Shatner big-face syndrome.

Then again ,he's rich, so he doesn't give a fuck what 9-5 dodos on EF say.

His face has always looked a little odd to me, as if he had had a stroke.

most bodybuilders at that age have the same leather skin like look to them. hulk hogan has the same look to his face as well.

well ive heard that part of his face is actually paralyzed thats why his lip kinda droops and he sounds the way that he does

I think he may have suffered a bit of nerve damage from one of his more recent cosmetic surgeries. His mouth did not move like that or look like that in a relaxed state when he was younger.

he has Bells Palsy.... my friend had that and the same thing happened. its not from cosmetic surgery its something that just happens. my friend was 15 when he got it and it paralyzes one side of your face but most recover completely but sylvester stallone didnt. neither did my friend. he still has that same half smile when he smiles.

how do u go frm sly to flava flav?
She was married to Sly in the mid 1980s. She vanished around the time she broke up with Sly, went back to Europe. Her career was better there. She never really caught on here, the only roles they seemed to find for her was Amazons or Russian bitches. She hooked up with Flava in that VH1 show where the has been celebrities live together (I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the show).

It's usually a viral thing.

I can't remember the show's name either, but she was recently on Celebrity Rehab and she's got a hawt, younger husband now (Turkish, I think?)

That is correct. If you look at the left side of his face, his eye appears smaller and his lip is half closed. These are all residual effects of bells palsy. I have had it myself and have similar issues. Bells Palsy fucking sucks...

are there any good treaments for it?

No not really. For 6 months my left side of my face was completed paralyzed, including my tear ducts. In essence I was blind out of 1 eye during that time as I continually had to put ointment on the eye in order to prevent it from shrivelling up (due to no tears). Some people believe early administratin of steroid treatment (non-AAS of course) can help. In my case it did not. I even went to a pain clinic a few times to have multiple accupunture needles hooked up to electricity in the affected area. Hurt like a bitch but didn't help much. At the end of the day time is the main healer. The 7th cranial nerve located behind your ear pretty much has to re-grow. I would say I have 70% functionaly of my left side of my face and to this day cannot completely blink.

Yeah my smile is fucked too. My surrounding eye nerves somehow got rerouted in the healing process as well. When I eat or do any physical exersion ie working out, my eye shuts involuntary and I can't see. People watching me workout are probably wondering WTF I am doing with my one eye shut lol..

I had a close call and almost went through something similar. I got Ramsey Hunt Syndrome when I was 21, which is essentially shingles that effects your inner ear. The infection spreads through the same facial nerve affected by bells palsy and if not caught within three days of the onset, will frequently lead to paralysis of that nerve. I started antivirals right on the cusp of that cut off and was lucky to only be stuck with a few weeks of some of the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.

Lucky girl you are. I would to say Bells Palsy was the worst thing I have ever had to deal with. You know until you mentioned the ear pain, I almost forgot about that. My one ear was so sensitive I couldn't even use it to listen while on the phone.

Same thing with me. I was hunting out in the bush when I woke up the next morning, tried to drink a coffee and spilled all over my chest. I figured I was still drunk from the night before so didn't think much of it. An hour later my eye was burning so bad I looked in the mirror only to find half my face like you said, dead. Taped up the eye and kept hunting till the next day, then figured I should go to the hospital.

I had a little bit of warning. I showered one morning and my ear felt full of water that I couldn't get out. I immediately went to the doctor, thinking it would be a routine flush. She said I ahd an ear infection, and gave me antibiotics. Two days later, things were worse and I was in pain, so she referred me to an ENT who diagnosed me correctly, and barely in time to avoid the worst of the symptoms. The pain was really bad, but nothing compared to what Mr. Black had to deal with because I was able to treat it.

i think i would of been ready 2 shot myself.

There were definitely some dark times back then. Couldn't eat, drink or speak properly nor could I sleep all that well as my eye kept popping open during the night (even with lots of tape applied). Trying to drive with one eye was definitely a challenge. You don't realize the benefits of a fully functioning face till its gone.

Fuck you guys are bringin back all sorts of memories lol... Yeah I drooled like a little baby. I am sure some of the public figured I was retarded.

much better now though, right?

For the most part. Unless I try to smile big or laugh, most people couldn't tell. My eye still does funny things, like I mentioned it involuntariy closes when it shouldn't at times. Oh well at least I don't drool anymore haha
