he has Bells Palsy.... my friend had that and the same thing happened. its not from cosmetic surgery its something that just happens. my friend was 15 when he got it and it paralyzes one side of your face but most recover completely but sylvester stallone didnt. neither did my friend. he still has that same half smile when he smiles.

That is correct. If you look at the left side of his face, his eye appears smaller and his lip is half closed. These are all residual effects of bells palsy. I have had it myself and have similar issues. Bells Palsy fucking sucks...

No not really. For 6 months my left side of my face was completed paralyzed, including my tear ducts. In essence I was blind out of 1 eye during that time as I continually had to put ointment on the eye in order to prevent it from shrivelling up (due to no tears). Some people believe early administratin of steroid treatment (non-AAS of course) can help. In my case it did not. I even went to a pain clinic a few times to have multiple accupunture needles hooked up to electricity in the affected area. Hurt like a bitch but didn't help much. At the end of the day time is the main healer. The 7th cranial nerve located behind your ear pretty much has to re-grow. I would say I have 70% functionaly of my left side of my face and to this day cannot completely blink.
