Vodka + Sugar free red bull

JLowe02 said:
decent alternative to beer? assuming of course you stick to once a week and don't over-indulge.

red bull is a headache in a can for me.

i've done this before. Not bad at all. Most clear liquors are carb free, and the sugar free RB lessens the cals. I'd do Absolut Mandarin/ RB though

Vodke slimline tonic - I had a few days recently where I kinda had to drink (birthdays etc).

Vodka slimline tonic - Im on a CKD. This drink temporarily knocks me out of keto but when I wake up im back in ketosis!

Drinking has little room in the sport of Bodybuilding... I'd really try to avoid it.

+1
Low carb or not, alcohol will negatively affect your nitrogen balance and stop protein synthesis.

i agree with that but im not competeing, and i like to go out and have fun with my friends. Like i said, im still not going to over-indulge.

I think that 1 mL of alcohol is 25 calories of "straight to the liver" fat storage....something like that. I love a nice glass of wine a couple of times per week, but looking for ways to make it seem healthier is just looking for ways to drink more of it I'm afraid. I've been there and done that. All distilled liquor is low carb, but not low calorie.
