BV is almost always accompanied by that fish odor and usually a discharge.

Diet can affect body chemistry, where in the monthly cycle a woman is, what medications, vitamins, foods, alcohol, and cigarettes, can ALL affect the body, hence the way things smell/taste.

She lives pretty clean, never been a smoker, rarely drinks if at all, and east pretty well. I thought it might be her vitamins, but she has had this issue foir awhile now and nothing she changes seems to make it better, I've been watching. She doesn't know I feel this way and I don't want to tell her since it might make her feel self concious.

She has been checked and has not had any yeast issues in a few years now. All is well down there as far as that goes.

Then tell her to get checked for BV. There is a specific test a Dr will do.
Not saying it is that, but there should be no noticable smell from the vagina unless a woman's ph is off. Just my educated opinion

i bet its more of a ph issue... some foods will do that to body taste and odor, but seems like what you are describing is something that is just her taste. Unless you address her with it and (in a very cautious manner of course) have her ask her doc... not much left to offer
