Trying to improve it

I asked this over on diet but wanted some input from the girls, some of whom may not make it over there very often. I had a pretty good program worked out before the holidays started but switched things up just a little a week ago. I've added in 1 meal a day and changed up my weight routine. I know it isn't neurosurgery but I don't have the same knowledge or experience levels that some of you do. Please give me a gal's perspective on what I need to "fix".

Thanks!!!

Well, I'm a low carber, so keep that in mind when you read my reply. You have starchy carbs in every meal - a lot of people seem to have good results when they limit starches to the first three meals of the day and only eat fibrous carbs in the last three meals. I wouldn't cut your protein - you're working out too much for that. Adding fat will make you less hungry, but you'll need to remove something (carbs) to make up for the added kcals.

Did you check out Spatt's cutting diet? That's a great, reasonable diet approach.

You can also go the low carb approach, but that doesn't work well for everyone. If you want info about the diet approach I follow, check out www.metabolicdiet.com.

I am one of those people who firmly believes in diet logs, and I count my kcals, carbs, and protein for every meal. I'm a little anal about it, mainly because if I'm guessing at how many kcals/carbs/protein I'm eating instead of calculating it out, I'm probably off.
