Rock climbing stores sell it too. They also sell special bags to put it in which avoids the mess and can be especially useful if your gym does not allow chalk.

I love making a chalky mess at the gym.......the best is chalking your rear traps etc when you squat...also the look of the people in the gym when you got the dust flying around...

Pumpin: You can grip the bar without straps and you much greater control and confidence in your lifts. Here I am, 2 weeks using it and I'm talking like an old pro... But anyway just do it

For all the guys who's gyms dont allow chalk , ditto on the rosin bag just like joker said..they're located in the baseball section as well and i think they're a whole 99 cents, and mine has lasted me for the past 3 months and its still goin strong..
