Sudden Lifting Headache - WTF?!

Long time reader, but I don't post much - I've read plenty of threads about this but it's really frustrating me.

About a week ago I was doing heavy flat bench press and on one of the last few reps I felt this sudden intense headache form instantly. It made me rack it and grab my head in both hands and hold it tight for about a minute before I could let go. It died down so I hit it again and the same thing happened. This happens when I'm on the bench usually but then it plagues my whole workout. I've been lifting for years and training solid for months so its not caused by coming back after time off and over training too soon. I'm hydrated and breathing right. Just got blood work and everything checks out. Blood pressure normal, sleep is fine, diet in check. No new sups. It might be a strained muscle? or a broken blood vessel? I'm posting because I want to find the answer and post what it is. No one ever posts how they solved this issue. Anybody found a cure for this?

my brother-in-law has had this from deadlifting... in good shape, been working out a long time, just came out of nowhere like yours...
i'll ask him how long it took to stop happening, but i know it was a while... i want to say like a few months or even longer...
he never found out exactly what the problem was either... he thought it was a blood vessel...
i know it hurt him pretty bad...
