serious question for the parents on the board

You can be a good parent and still have your own adult life. It's unhealthy to give those things up - and unrealistic to think that just because you have children, you should suddenly become non-sexual. As a parent, I have a responsibility to raise my child safely and with an understanding of how the world works. I agree that they should not be exposed to adult material, but I don't agree that a parent is immoral or wrong for taking part in adult "situations" simply because they have children.


When you have kids, do you plan on giving up any flirting, public displays of effection, etc? Will you never look at porn again, or have sex because your child might find out?

I see your point. You just have to be careful not to be very blatant. In my profile, I don't post anything racy, because I don't want any racy pictures on this computer. However, I will make risque comments or just comments that I wouldn't say in front of the girls. I don't even curse in front of the girls. Gee, though, after being a parent all day, sometimes parents like to have a non-Barney friendly conversation...lol. It isn't that bad.

nudity is not offensive or immoral to everyone. I personally could care less, and will not judge someone based on a nude picture.

a nude PORN picture - now that's a different story. If you're talking (for example) about a naked picture of my mother playing with herself, then I agree that it's not something I want to see. It's not wrong for her to take the picture and share it with her husband, just wrong to let me see it.

Hmmmm...I think steps should be taken to not let the kids see them. I personally don't take porn pics and share them on the web. It just isn't my thing, but I'm not going to pass judgment on another woman doing it, whether or not she is a mother.

Interesting topic. Im a liberal, but i believe (if i had a kid...im almost 25) that he/she should be taught morals, proper ways of doing things, having/giving respect, having/giving boundaries/privacy...and basic things as such...but in no way is it wrong for a parents to have a little "fun" as long as their kids dont violate that privacy. Likewise I don't think the parent should violate the kid's privacy (although there are rare exceptions, especially when the kid is very young, obviously). But hell...i have friends in their 30s...theyre just as normal as younger folks for the most part (my friends anyway), just more experienced in life, they still have that kid sense of humor...we all do...i dont think ive ever grown out of mine...like the saying goes..theres a time and place for everything..

Hell..my dad who's 64 sends me funny emails occasionally about things people in their late teens, 20s, 30s etc would all laugh at, he's cool like that..my older step brother who's 35 (almost 36, later this month), is basically just a big kid...loves his "jaw's" movie collection, has a million holloween masks (literally), has occasional partys when he invites a ton of friends, they can sometimes get a little wild..which is why i dont always stay for those lol... sounds and looks like he's almost my age (he honestly looks like tom cruise's identical brother hah)...just because you get older doesnt mean you stop having fun...with some people its actually the opposite way around...

True thats a men's personality and inherently all us guys feel like this deep down inside, hell i dont exactly advocate this exactly as i just said it, but..the position of power, authority, demand for respect, get what we want, etc...but at the same time (this might sound a little corny, but its essentially true i think) being gentle and kind, sincere and concerned, understanding, is what really makes the romance novel...interchanging these two variables of personality. Internally I think it's programmed in all guys that we want to do the right thing...since we have feelings, it's possible to get what we want by giving back (jerks/players/liars dont agree here, but helping/giving back does give joy and gratification)..it's all about give and take, not take and take...what saddens me is seeing all these childish, immature boys at my gym, jerks/liars n the such...doing their "playa" thing with women then afterwards "hurting" them emotionally (using them)...just for sex...for their selfish desires...and thats not what it's about really...i can go on n on about this, im no expert but it just seems basic n logical if u think about it...theres a good way to go about having sex, then theres the wrong way...
Now if you want to become a male prostitute...just triple layer that fucker please
