Because I have semester tests on Jan. 10,11,and 12 and it was origionally going to come off on the 17th. Also I asked about the whole workinout thing and he said yah I can workout afterwards just make sure it isn't stiff right away.

That's good...even a week will help alot. Be VERY careful with working out too soon though! It is not that you have to worry so much about the bone but since you have muscle loss it is so easy to compress nerves and have numbness and loss of grip strength for a long time if not permenantly. Just be careful.....trust me on this one bro.....I've done it the wrong way twice and I am now very careful with working out too soon after an arm cast comes off!

I've played 4 sports varsity and been in a head on collision with a car on my 12 speed and I have never broken a bone , dislocated any joint or torn any ligaments

Football, fighting, motorcycle wrecks, gunshot wounds............I'm far from frail my brotha! (16 of those came from 3 motorcycle wrecks)
I actually find it strange to hear of a grown man who has never had a broken bone.......I don't think I know (personally) any man who has led an active life and not broken a bone.
What about stitches? Please tell me you have had at least 20 stitches!!! :) I think I have had at least 200.....

Ok, cool...so do you suggest making workout a little easier than before until I build some muscle again?

Sorry , just got back from the gym

If you are on a long layoff such as myself, I would advise that you get back into weights slowly. I've never been injured before because of a reason. I am extremely knowledgeable in the weight room and I am meticulious about warming up. Caution over intensity... live to lift tomorrow
