27 broken bones? my god....you sound pretty frail if that's really true. I've yet to have a broken bone in my life, and played sports from age 8 to current...that's just strange to hear.

Football, fighting, motorcycle wrecks, gunshot wounds............I'm far from frail my brotha! (16 of those came from 3 motorcycle wrecks)
I actually find it strange to hear of a grown man who has never had a broken bone.......I don't think I know (personally) any man who has led an active life and not broken a bone.
What about stitches? Please tell me you have had at least 20 stitches!!! I think I have had at least 200.....

Ok, thanks for that man. But, I don't think my parents are going to let me take the cast off, specially cause the doctor told me to have it on til Jan 17. I'll post on here again on the 17th what the info is from him. And you think I'll be able to be working out as soon as it's off?

How do your parents stop you from cutting off a cast?
NO you won't be able to work out as soon as it's off!!! Truth is you won't want to....you'll see what I mean.

Tell them your body told you you no longer needed it! Yeah, I guess my parents were not too happy the first time I cut a cast off after 2 weeks so I could play in a football game! They got used to it, however! Dude if you are older than about 14 you control your body and don't answer to anyone.

Try telling my parents that dude. Yah not gonna fly. I asked 'em tonight to see if I could get it off one week in advance just so I could do my semester finals for school and they said no. No way they're gonna fly for this. I hope I can recover quick enough though. I'll ask him on Thurs about how my workingout will be right after the cast comes off.

Guess I've just been extrememly lucky then, although I'm only 22, so I still have a lot of time.. (knock on wood).

lol, why not just cut it off, if its off and you act like its fine and you are smart about recovery and begin your own therapy what can they do? take you back and put it back on? no, f that, cut it off, and they might think your dumb but so? your a man
