question about carb-up on CKD?!?!

At the moment I am just having one meal on a Friday night (about 6pm, before i hit the gym), it is a Chinese meal, Sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and fries (I very much look forward to this meal all week) but is that enough to keep my metabolism going or should I carb-up for an entire day?
(I don't have a clue how many calories or carbs are in this meal)
Any help is appreciated!
Thanx!

If nothing else, switch the meal to post workout. Most people tend to carb up from say Friday PM until Sat. PM with their meals consisting mostly of carbohydrates and protein.

im no expert on CKD's as i;ve never done one, but i was under the impression that you needed to be eating lots of carbs, high GI, and for the whole day

1 meal with fried rice probably isnt enough...if your following the diet very strictly, carbing up on anything fried probably isnt great, if your more relaxed its up to you i guess, after 5 days of dieting a pizza is understandable

but from all accounts i remember people saying you really had to cram the carbs.

Common problem on a carbup is that you crave a cheat meal, but you need to find food that is high in carbs but low in fat. Fried food is a bad choice.

My favorite is 3 bowls of frosted flakes :)
Then later on I'll have a couple sweet potatoes with cinnamin
