Overdieting? Too long in a hypocaloric s (HELP!)tate?

I have been dieting for nearly 22 months now....my weight loss has hit 90 pounds and my bodyfat is down to 7-8%, and my weight is down from 248 to 158.....of course, my max bench is also down from a contest form 375 to a sloppy 300.....here's my question:

I will begin a mass phase (finally!) in September, and for the first time i will be eating clean when trying to bulk...I only plan to add 10-12 pounds by Christmas...did i diet for too long? Being in a hypocaloric balance for 22 months is a long time, i'm proud of my results, but miss my size..my current measurements are:

Chest: 45-46'
Arms: 15-16'
waist: 30-29'
hip: 30.5'

More than anything, I want my powe back! Can i expect my body to react favorably when i'm done cutting, as long as i eat clean?

Carbs are essential while bulking - so fuck what he says. Power will come back easily considering you did not lose much muscle. You will gain nicely in a high cal cycle, but I take it you are not a beginner (350lbs bench) so do not expect 12lbs by christmas. Power will come back for sure, though.

Good luck

thanks blood drinker,
I hope the power comes back....the size will come...i just figured that i'd gain a bunch of water weight anyhow the first few weeks....that's where i got that 10-12 pounds figured....as for LBM, i'm not sure....i have good genetics for getting big, i just need to be careful not to get too fat. Even at my light bodyweight i can maintain in the low to mid 160's at around 3200 cals a day. So i'll do that for a while...and of course, 200-250 grams of protein daily.
