new to this can someone give me an opinion on workout and diet

okay here it goes i have at least 7 meals a day mostly all protein such as tuna, chck,fish,brocalli and some fruit i do cardio 5 times a week anywhere from 30-45 min and i lift 5 times a week

mon-lunges-biceps and triceps i do about 9 workouts for these

tues-legs-20 reps on smith machine, 20 reps on leg press, i also do squats on one of the machines where your kind of standing on it i dont know what its called, but i do 15 reps there then i do 20 reps on lunges, 20 reps leg extensions, and as many calf raises i can do. I do 6 sets of these-then i do shoulders just because i have no time the rest of the week to do shoulders

wed-same as mon

thurs- same as tue

fri- same as mon and wed

i am 5'1 at 125 and trying to get lean i dont really know my body fat, but i just want to know if all of this sounds okay:confused:
 
Hard to critique your diet, too vague... How many Calories are you taking in? www.fitday.com will help you out. Your eating 7 times a day, this is good!

Are you working Chest? If you have alot of weight to lose and you are new to training I guess you can do that much, but you will need a better split eventually. Your probably overtraining yourself. When I was a newbie here, I was doing full bodys every day, it worked good for a while but eventually it was too much, and I learned I could lean out and look great doing alot less.

M- Chest and Tri's
T-Back and Bi's
W-cardio
TR- Legs
F- Shoulders and Traps
Sat-Cardio
Sun-Rest

Or something like that, there are many different splits, maybe try the 5x5 on the training forum.
 
i take in anywhere from 1000-1500 i try to have at least 3 protein shakes a day one protein bar (carb-rite bar) and 3 good meals. i dont think i have to loose that much weight my legs are pretty toned, but i just want to lean them down a little bit more. I also have a pooch on my stomach that i cannot get rid of, but i believe this is from my pregnancy of 2 1/2 yrs ago. anyway well thanks for website.
