New here....starting to get back into it so here's my "Before" pics

Hey all, I'm 27 yrs old, been working out on and off for about 10 yrs. I'm 5'9 1/2" and currently weigh 186lbs. Please bare in mind, these are my "BEFORE" pics...because I'm aware of the holiday weight I'm carrying and no I'm not related to Casper the Ghost lol! The last pic was last May at around 174lbs. I started at 192lbs back on the 2nd of this month so I'm hitting the cardio pretty hard and I've got to cut up by March 4th as I'm going South.

Bad lighting, pasty white hehe

My goal is to lose as much body fat as I can while maintaining as much lean muscle as I can. Which I know will not be an easy task in only approx. 6 weeks time lol! I'd appreciated anyone's input, tips, or tricks on cutting up without losing to much size. I'm guestimating a short term goal weight of 170lbs fairly lean.

Sound do-able?

And by the everybody loves raymond comment....are u implying that I look like Ray Romano lol!

just curious... how much can you bench? First thing i noticed was a lack of upper chest development and also a lack of inner chest development. start with inclines on chest day. also throw in some intense cable crossovers for inner pecs. cross you hands over each other for maximum contraction.

i think that people should be asking "What are my weak points?" when they show their pics instead of a general question like "Any input/suggestions?".....

I agree with you on my chest....always been an issue. I bench about 225lbs for 8-10 reps...245 for about 5-6...275 for 2-3. And that would be going from 225, to 245, 275 obviously. I do dips, incline & flat flyes, pec deck, I have been doing cable cross overs.

Should I just go hard and heavy on incline dumbell presses....or incline bench? Write now I'm kinda alternating between a hard heavy workout and a higher rep lighter workout the next. What else should I do for inner chest?

to hit the inner chest you can do close-grip bench presses, lock out on the top for a second or two and repeat.

different people will tell you what different rep ranges work. for a lot it would be 8-12 reps per set. Arnold did this reps range but went heavy on everything once a week to test strength and gain that hard, dense look. if you want to build the upper chest then start on it on chest day. if you want to really hit it hard and increase your bench as well, do incline flys to isolate and pre-exhaust the chest then go do incline presses, then bench press.

everyone's workout depends on what they need to do to strengthen their weak points. you (and by you i mean everyone) should switch things up on a monthly, weekly, and even daily basis.

if you need anything else, then hit me up
