Please have her checked. I've adopted the most insane cats and every one of these cats turned out to be total gems with enough love and attention.
And yes I will take her. If you can get her here, I will keep her
Freaking DEAL!

I love animals but this one requires more attention than I can give, obviously. With a baby, a dog and work, her peeing and scratching and puking is just putting me over the EDGE.

By the way, cats are not dumb. Usually when they pee in places they shouldn't, they are sending a message. Or she could be sick somehow. peeing all over the place is not normal behavior.

Unless it is not neutered.

IMO get rid of the cat if it is causing that many problems.

She was spayed at 6 months old.

wrong. Cats should not pee all over even if they are not fixed.
Males spray when not fixed though. But if they are housecats, they will not spray.

People... it is A CAT, not a child.

HeatherRae, I am thinking that you feel guilt or something because you just don't have the energy to deal with this any longer.

Why?

IT IS A CAT... NOT A BABY.

Take MM's advice and fire the cat. Seriously, take Nef's advice and pack the animal up and cart it off to one of those animal rescue places and this way YOU AND the cat will be better off!

:) Problem solved.

You have never seen a bigger animal lover than me. Seriously, I have rescued so many animals that it is crazy. I've NEVER dumped an animal at the pound or just abandoned them, etc. Nor would I. I just can't find anyone who wants her and she is destroying my house.

I don't think we have a no kill shelter around here, unfortunately.

I've had it on craigslist many times trying to find her a home. I haven't received one single email of anyone wanting her.

I believe that infanticide is regularly practised in India. To circumvent that government had begun placing cribs in areas around the country hoping that people will leave the children that they don't want and/or can't care for instead of just killing them. I also know that they have sonogram/abortion packages where the mother makes the doctor show her the dead fetus to make sure that a mistake was not committed by her aborting a son.

... just sayin is all.

EVERYONE is disposable.

Will the local vet take it off your hands?

Heather, I totally can relate to your situation,

my two cats are my first indoor cats. I've had cats my whole life, but they were outdoor cats.

These two cats will be my last. I will not own another pet unless it is a very smart dog.

I have two very good kitties, but even being good kitties, I cannot STAND cat litter in the house. Its NASTY and dirty. The hair, I vacumn every day for every person and animal you have. I have to do it 4 times a week to stay on top of the hair situation. Granted, I have two long haired kitties.

Plus, (lol) being indoor cats, they live forever! When I was a kid, a pet would last 4 years tops! My cats could be around for another 15 years! lol Holy hell!! hahaha
