I respect all life. However, I do not now nor have I ever, nor will I ever elevate the life of an animal to that of a human being. PERIOD.

There is nothing I can say that will make you understand so we will agree to disagree. If you are going to quote Ghandi then you should be a bit better informed on his country's policies on human life before you use his quotes to support your feelings on animal life.

just saying. :whatever:

Ghand was not his country, he was an independent thinker.
So because you're American, you believe in the war?
You're not making ANY sense!

Anyone who believes human life is more valuable than any another life on the planet is delusional.
You''re right, there is nothing you can say to make me be believe in such a closed minded way.

OK. I will remain delusionally happy because I value the life of a human child more than I value the life of ANY animal.

I would cook the trusted family pet if it meant food for children.

You wouldn't.

Rock on - we can agree to disagree and yet I've managed to do it without calling you names.

i could never go through with dropping my kitties off at a shelter

cant say that the thought has not crossed my mind though on occasion.

I wasn't calling you names?!

debating with you is just not productive so yes, we shall agree to disagree

OHHH, that is the only one that I knew about but I didn't realize that they were a no-kill shelter. That is great to know.

Actually, I don't know if I have the heart to take her there. I don't really hate her. I'm just very frustrated with her. I would rather find her a family on my own if I can. I would feel guilty having her stay in a cage forever, if they don't find her a home. Bleh. I hate this guilty conscious of mine.

Devin IS allergic to her, too, though- a problem I failed to mention.

He does have to come first with me.

I'm conflicted.

Can you tell? lol.

LOL...

I think you know EXACTLY how I feel, then. I'm no bad guy, just a frustrated kitty owner.

She wouldn't be in a cage. They have no main building and all their animals are fostered. Meaning she would live in a home. If devin is allergic you definitely need to drop her off. she will be loved and well cared for.

OK on top of everything else, your son is allergic and you feel guilty dropping this cat at a no-kill shelter because.....?
