do NOT stretch if you are not warmed up slightly ... you may hurt or over stretch or tear something, get some blood flowing 1st...
to me it's common sense.. how can you become more flexible, while increasing strength AND adding muscle if you are not stretching? For me adding size limited my ROM & flexibilty BIG time... I hate STRETCHING but I won't complain about pain if I'm not ya know? I'd be a hypocrite
