Log Update!

Hey all, nothing much new going on. Went in on Monday to the gym and got my shirt on. But i was having so much pain in my left pec that i could only do about 3-4 sets and then had to leave because my pec felt like it was going to explode.

so i didnt even consider it a workout. My damn bench is so far behind its killing me.

Worked out: Quads/Hamstrings/Calves/Groin

Squat ( done on the 6 inch box again tap and go style)
135 x 5
180 x 5
225 x 5
235 x 5
235 x 5
235 x 5
235 x 5
235 x 5
*(Im starting to think the box is about 12 inches, since i have a ruler at work and 6 inches is really low. my buddy told me it was 6 inches, im going to have to check)


Insane, by the last set i almost needed a spot to get up. I kept my form nice and strict on all these except maybe the last set since i was fried. I was mentally trying to keep my arch all the way into the hole and everytime i felt my ass coming up i kept it down.

Hamstring Curls on the hyper
4 sets @ 10 reps with 30-45s rest

Hip Adductor? Squeezing legs togther:
80lbs X 4sets @ 10 reps

I supersetted the Adductors with the Abductors so i got very little rest here

Hip Abductor? Opening legs apart:
200lbs X 4 sets @ 10 reps

I really am trying to work my depth and my squat form right now. I'm so happy i was able to get in yesterday to squat, since last time i squated on thursday, and had a killer workout SAT. Now i got a nice break till Sat.
 
Are you taking the time to really stretch every day? I would think 10-20 min a day would really help with your Flexibility when you need it most.

Your right, both times i felt my chest i actually rushed into it. I see where you goin bunny and your right my ass needs to strentch for atleast 5-10 mins before hand

do NOT stretch if you are not warmed up slightly ... you may hurt or over stretch or tear something, get some blood flowing 1st...

to me it's common sense.. how can you become more flexible, while increasing strength AND adding muscle if you are not stretching? For me adding size limited my ROM & flexibilty BIG time... I hate STRETCHING but I won't complain about pain if I'm not ya know? I'd be a hypocrite (not saying you are, far from it)... :) I'm just dropping some ideas into to help you maximize your strength/comp training. Do whatever you want with my $.02, give it to a bum maybe :)

Damn no wonder why i felt my groin shaking on the way up my last set lol i knew i was fried. SGT i got to get you a pic of how low this box is....Some PL older guy was talkin with me, and he was like thats nice and low, when i get stuck i sometimes pause on the bottom, so i mentioned you did that. Then he went to see if the box was lower then his pause and it WAS! and hes only 5'6 maybe. He looked at me like i was nuts getting that low.

But i figure hey, im cheating now with the eqiupment, why not crush Ass to floor when i can =]

Oh yea i know u have to get blood flowing or else injury or imbalances come, (read this in some ebook).

your definately right tho bunny, on Last Sat i came in at 3:30 when everone was meeting at 4:00 just so i could get an intense stretch going. My gym has alittle stretch center. I got to honestly really usalize stretching. When im really sore i actually will stretch before i go to sleep....

Bunny, i would never EVEr give anything you give me to anyone but myself!!! That .02 cents gets stored away in my Nuerological Database (oh shit, im using words i learned in BIO! whoohoo! lol)
