Lost my vision from GH

I agree. I had done some generic blue caps a while back at 2iu and had no side effect. I noticed when I started the TevTropin I felt strange. I think there is definitely a difference. I thought I was doing the right thing by using pharma. It's the biggest mistake of my life. I've also got cubital tunnel which I think can be attributed to the growth. So I need surgery as well. It's become very hard for me to go on.

my doc believes i have intracranial hypertension from the gh. it is a known side effect. however, none of my eye doctors have been able to do anything about my ruined vision. my life is in ruins at the moment.

you need to see a neurologist asap bro. the vision problem could definitely be attributed to IH. its treatable with medication or surgery.

i'm currently under the care of the best neuro-ophthalmologist in the region. i had a lumbar puncture to verify the hypertension and i've started some preliminary treatment. i would not recommend a lumbar puncture to anyone unless you really need it. i asked him about gh-users and hypertension and he says he sees a lot of it, bodybuilders and kids. when i asked him why they prescribe gh to anyone considering the risks his response was "they shouldn't". i am hoping he will help me fix some of my vision issues but i'm certain that i'm going to be left with some degree of disability in both eyes. i had NO IDEA that this was a concern with gh. this was from 2 months of usage.

im glad to hear youre in there getting the right kind of care man. i hope most if not all of your suffering can be alleviated.. just remember to keep researching things. even with a great team of doctors, you have to be the number one advocate for yourself. there is no replacement for that. ive had a lot of health issues to deal with and if i didnt stay on top of things, making sure i covered every base, i might not be here today. i had lots of specialists questioning their education and later thanking me for helping them do their job better.

best of luck, keep us posted.

my neuro-op has got me taking some low dose medication but it doesn't seem to be helping, other than making me sick. i'm supposed to go in for an MRV with is a sort of MRI that shows blood flow in the brain. he still thinks this is IIH related. seems strange to me that I go from PERFECT eyesight to having astigmatism in BOTH eyes, hyperopia in one eye and all the other problems OVERNIGHT. i can't tell you how much this has wrecked my life. all of your support from this board has been VERY helpful for me to keep going.

That sound like awfully fast onset of neuropathy... it does not sound like it would be diabetes related. (or entirely diabetes related)
It takes years for nerve damage to occur with uncontrolled sugar levels.
You may want to look at other culprits as well.
It is good advice to keep an eye on your sugar levels, but, I think there may be other factors (maybe in combination to high sugars) that you have not yet thought about.
