It's Cutting time!!!

I figured that since I payed for this platinum account I better damn well use it. I figured I'd use this journal to keep me on track.

So its cutting time for me. It's kind of weird to be cutting in the winter but f*ck it... I just found out that i'm going to Hawaii for Christmas break so I'd figure I would cut until then. It works out perfectly since I won't have enough funds to start another bulking cycle until the beginning of next year, and starting it with a low bf always drastically improves my cycles.

I'm gonna go with Crumb's diet, since I've been successful with it in the past and it's simplicity makes it easy to stick to. I'm starting at around 170, 5'5" and about 14% bf. That's not bad considering that two years ago I was only130lbs at my lightest, but that was before I discovered this board.

Using NYC for my 45 minute morning cardio and yohimburn (I can't wait till I have enough money to try the new DF version) . I'll add some liquidex too when i can it afford it in about 2 weeks.

Wish me luck and I'll keep you posted:fro: Later...UCD KID

here's the general idea

My diet pretty much follows the guidelines set by crumbs diet. All of my protein comes from tuna, steak, chicken and whey. All fats are healthy efa's mostly coming from fish oil and flax oil. On workout days, immediately after I eat whey/sweet tarts. That's the only time I eat carbs, except for my veggies.

I do cardio 5 times a week in the morning on an empty stomach with nyc. I train 4 days a week, alternating between low and high reps.

I may have a carb up in two or three weeks depending on how my results are.

tomorrow is my first real day so wish me luck. Once I get passed this first week it becomes so much easier, almost routine. Can't wait for morning cardio at the ass crack of dawn, then work for eight hours followed by a fun night of cramming for my bio-chem midterm:bawling:

Day One

Diet:
-Whey+ tuna (after 40 minute cardio)
-Chicken + Fish oils
-Tuna+ flax oil
-whey + sweet tarts (immediately after workout)
-chicken+salad+flax oil
-about one serving of fiber one cereal since I've been to busy to buy fiber pills

My workout went well, but I don't think I've had a bad back work out in a year. I love back days. So far so good, wish I could say that about my midterm. I hate the quarter system, you fart and your already 10 chapters behind.

Oh well I kind of like cramming for test, its keeps things interesting...

Day 2

Day two

Diet:
-whey and 1 can of tuna (after 40 minute morning cardio
-chicken and flax oil
-1 can of tuna and fish oils
-lean cut steak and salad
-chicken and flax oil
-whey and fish oils

A day off from weights, tomorrow hitting chest and tris. My diet so far has been pretty easy to follow, good to know since if I 'm going to cheat it usually happens in the first few days. I did have a few BBQ sunflower seeds, but oh well. I found that after cardio, having a quick digesting protein (whey) grouped with something slow protein (tuna) really made a difference in my recovery and energy levels throughout the day.

Day three

Day 3

Diet:
-tuna and whey
-chicken and fish oils
-chicken salad and flax oil
-whey and sweet tarts (after workout)
-tuna and fish oils
-lean steak and flax oil

So far, so good....
I did chest and triceps today. Workout didn't go as well as I would of liked. I've had a bad shoulder injury that really limits how much I can lift for chest. So I've been focusing on form and lowering the weight a little. I've really been focusing on my tris lately and they're really starting to catch up with every thing else. I'm down to 162, mostly water I'm guessing, but 8 lbs in only 3 days is pretty good.
Well tomorrow I'm going to Chico , the first time I've been there since turning 21, so hopefully I don't get too out of control, all in moderation, right?

I finally scrounged up some money for the df version of yohimburn, so I'm pretty excited to try it out, since I'm retaing a shit load of water. Also finally got some liquidex so hopefully I can get some of the same results that Huck got with his nyc/yohimburn/liquidex cycle.

Have a good weekend, hopefully I don't get too off track

Day 8

Day 8

weight:160
Diet has pretty much been the same, some days when I do cardio in the morning and weights at night, I eat oatmeal with r-ala before my workout. Days when I only do cardio I stick to all low carb meals

I looked in the mirror after my morning cardio, and I couldn't believe it. Just to think of the results in 6 weeks.I can't believe how full my muscles are even though I'm on a low carb diet.
How did I ever attempt to cut without NYC/yohimburn/morning cardio?

Now to something a little less serious:
I have to declare my major in 4 weeks.
I'm stuck between a BS in either exersice science Nutritional science.

Which do you think I should choose...I can't decide:confused:

Day 10:

This is really the first time I've been consistent with morning cardio and its really making a huge difference. I decided to throw in more carbs(pretty much only oatmeal and fiber one) into the diet since my progress so far has been great. I'll save crumb's diet for those last few pounds. I swithched up to vpx clen for two weeks and give nyc a break. I wanted to see if it's really as good as everyone says it is.

Looking forward to tomorrow, I think I'm due for a day off. It's been 7 days in a row of morning cardio in. I'm going to sleep in:sleep2:
