If you could stay young and beautiful for ever, never get sick or die, would you?

I expect to outlive everyone I know, anyway, so what difference does forever make? I'll take it.
yeah and I've been a mortician for a dozen years
so I have the "detached nature" requirement covered

No...

I look forward to being older and trying to bang younger chicks.

Hold on a minute sweetie, let me put my teeth in and pop a few viagra. Gramps will be back in a minute. Eeeeww. I don't think I could do it because I have to think they are at least attracted to me.

I wouldn't sell my soul, If I knew there a God and an afterlife.
wouldn't immortality make them irrelevant?
I suppose a God could still be of use to you
but if immortal obviously an afterlife is unecessary
and a "soul" well?

If I could pick my age, then sure. I would do it.

BTW, what was the ending of the twilight zone episode?

I can't remember as I was about 11
this is basically a religious question, but I think Serling covered it secularily

Only if I was a vampire.

No seriously, I'd say no. Thinking about living my life and continually watching everyone I was close to or loved get old and die...well that would be a lonely existence IMO.

a side question

If you were immortal would money wealth matter?
sure you'd want some basic level to afford you accomodations
wouldn't want to be a homelessly immortal
